Expect A Low Volume Week Ahead

November 24

Under normal circumstances, the week of Thanksgiving won’t provide much in the way of excitement in the markets.

The expectation is for decreasing volume throughout the week, all the way until the half trading day on Friday.

Today saw minimal trading activity, and it should come as no surprise that the market floated upward which is typical due to the lack of market participants making any big bets into the shortened holiday week.

We’ll certainly keep our eye out for clues that may begin to play out next week, but all in all without any jolting news headlines or global economic revelations, look for a dull week.

Remember, don’t short a dull market.

Check out the technical analysis video tonight where I do discuss and review the major markets and how to best position for the first part of December.
